About Me

I’m a passionate outdoor photographer who thrives on adventure and exploration. Specializing in outdoor product, action, and lifestyle photography, I’m always willing to go the extra mile whether that means trekking into remote wilderness, climbing a mountain, or spending days on the trail to capture the perfect shot. With years of experience in both photography and outdoor sports, I bring a unique combination of technical skill and an understanding of how to authentically represent the environment and the activity. My goal is to create images that tell a story, evoke emotion, and connect your audience to the experience behind the product.

My Story.

  • My passion for photography began early on. I remember getting lost in travel and sports magazines like national geographic and patagonia, captivated by the incredible places I saw and wishing I could be there. When I was 8 years old, I got my hands on a 3DS for my birthday, and to my surprise, it had a camera. I spent hours taking countless photos on that tiny 0.3 MP sensor, trying to make my pictures look like the ones I saw in magazines.

  • Growing up in the outdoors was inevitable for me. Both of my parents worked in fish and wildlife, and they were avid outdoor enthusiasts. I practically grew up on the trails of the Pacific Northwest. As an environmentalist and co-founder of the non-profit organization Ocean Blue Project, I’ve always believed that photography has the power to inspire people to explore the outdoors and become more mindful of their impact. Through my work, I hope to help others realize just how vital it is to protect the planet we all share.

  • Fast forward to high school, and I finally had a decent camera, a hand me down Nikon D7200. Suddenly, everyone wanted their photo taken by me. From car photos to football games and parties, I was the go to school photographer. Then, something happened that changed the course of my career. Someone asked me to take professional senior photos, and they were willing to actually pay me for them. That was the moment I realized photography could be more than just a passion, it could be a career.

  • After graduating a year early in 2021, I decided it was time to turn my dreams into reality. My plan? Move to Portland, Oregon, and start my own photography business. I scoured Facebook and Craigslist for a place to stay and ended up finding a basement game room in Happy Valley with good rent where the only rule was not to move the pool table. From there, I built my photography business from the ground up as well as the website you see today (or an early version of it). I quickly found success in auto and portrait photography, shooting for car dealerships and taking professional headshots.

  • After a year of photography in Portland, something just didn’t feel right. While I was doing well shooting auto photography and headshots, my real passion was always the outdoors. Cars and portraits were great, but I found myself still spending my free time taking photos in nature. So, I made a big decision. I moved back to my hometown to focus on what I love most. I teamed up with a longtime friend and now business partner to launch Cascades Media, an outdoors focused media business where we have gone on to shoot for many businesses and brands.

  • Today, while I am still involved in Cascades Media, it has transitioned exclusively to a video and cinematography focused business. That’s where Fleet Frames comes in, my personal venture dedicated to outdoor, product, lifestyle, and action photography. In addition to running Fleet Frames, I’m also a full time photographer at Oregon State University, where I continue to hone my craft. With years of experience, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and a deep understanding of how to best connect your brand with your audience. Whether it's capturing the essence of your product or the thrill of an extreme sport, I’m here to create compelling images that resonate and tell your story.
